ON THIS PLANT

One of the finest late winter flowering shrubs for temperate climates, this plant boasts a small, gracefully arching form. Its stems are adorned with narrow, evergreen leaves that have a highly textured, bamboo-like appearance. In March, the shrub becomes a spectacle with a profusion of pendulous, soft yellow catkins hanging from its axils, creating a breathtaking display.
