CARE GUIDE

How to keep Prunus Rufa.

Water

Water Prunus rufa based on its growth stage and local conditions. Initially, water the plant once before it starts budding. Then, continue watering monthly until fall. Make sure to water thoroughly until you see drainage. After watering, loosen the soil and remove any weeds. Stop watering during autumn and winter to prevent frost damage.

Pruning

Prunus rufa is a deciduous plant admired for its vibrant foliage and delicate blooms. To promote healthy growth, prune in early spring to remove dead wood. Be cautious not to over-prune, as this can stress the plant. Regular pruning helps maintain the shape and size of Prunus rufa, while also improving air circulation, which encourages abundant blooming.
