How to keep Hydrangea Heteromalla.
Pruning
Pruning methods for hydrangea heteromalla vary depending on the type of hydrangea. Bigleaf and oakleaf hydrangeas require pruning in early summer and have strict bud management needs. In contrast, the 'Endless Summer' variety can be pruned throughout the year, except in spring. Smooth and panicle hydrangeas bloom on new branches, which allows for more flexible pruning. However, these varieties may need support for their larger flowerheads.
