Aesculus assamica is resistant to disease and generally does not tend to develop illnesses. As for care, this plant is fairly low-maintenance. When grown outdoors it needs only light watering, and larger specimens typically do not require pruning. Smaller specimens, however, should be trimmed after they finish blooming. CARE GUIDE

How to keep Aesculus Assamica.

Light

The Aesculus assamica thrives in its natural habitats, including forest understories and rocky regions, where it naturally receives shade. While its optimal solar condition is partial sunlight, it can acclimate to complete sunlight or total shade, indicating its robust and adaptable qualities.

Temperature

Aesculus assamica demonstrates a high level of resilience to heat, having the ability to endure elevated temperatures and significant temperature fluctuations. In hot conditions, it is crucial to monitor watering and furnish suitable shading to avert sun damage. On the other hand, Aesculus assamica exhibits a comparative lack of resistance to colder temperatures. It can endure a certain level of chill, but extreme cold can result in frost injuries.

Fertilizer

For optimal development, apply fertilizer to your Aesculus assamica at the beginning of spring. Consistent fertilization bolsters general health, leading to robust growth, tolerance to harsh environments, and increased resistance to diseases and pests. Keep a particular fertilization timetable for your Aesculus assamica for the retention of rich-colored, lush-looking leaves.
