How to keep Populus Ciliata.
Light
Populus deltoides subsp. deltoides is found in open habitats, such as sunny meadows and forest margins, which provide abundant light. It does best in Full Sun but can also tolerate Partial Sun, adapting well to a range of sunlight conditions.
Temperature
Populus deltoides subsp. deltoides shows strong adaptability to a range of climatic conditions, whether facing scorching summers or chilly winters. It nevertheless has an optimal temperature range for growth. If temperatures rise too high, the plant is susceptible to heat and humidity stress, which may lead to its death. In areas where temperatures near the lower bound of its cold tolerance, it is necessary to apply insulation measures to protect the plant.
Fertilizer
Fertilize your Populus deltoides subsp. deltoides in early spring to encourage healthy growth. Regular feeding improves overall health, producing vigorous growth, increased tolerance of harsh conditions, and enhanced resistance to pests and diseases. Keep a consistent fertilization schedule for your Populus deltoides subsp. deltoides to maintain vibrant, deeply colored foliage and a lush appearance.
