ON THIS PLANT

This flower is native to China and north-eastern Vietnam. Paphiopedilum micranthum is also called Tiny Flowered Paphiopedilum. This small orchid is single-flowered, oblong-elliptic, obtuse to subacute, mottle dark and paler green, purple-spotted beneath leaves. The petals of both whorls are white, slightly greenish at the base, covered with more or less intense pink discolorations and marked dark red-purple colors.
