Nabalus crepidineus (syn. Prenanthes crepidinea), the nodding rattlesnakeroot, is a species of flowering plant in the aster family occurring in the northern central United States. It is a perennial flowering plant growing up to 3 m (9.8 ft) tall. It grows in mesic habitats and produces white (sometimes yellow) flowers in late summer and autumn. In 2010 it was reclassified from the genus Prenanthes to Nabalus.
