CARE GUIDE
How to keep Ipomoea Crassipes.
Water
Ipomoea crassipes grows best in moist soil. Water the plant whenever the soil surface feels dry, making sure the water is fully absorbed. To encourage growth, water regularly—1 to 2 times a day during the summer. During extremely hot weather, it's best to water in the cool mornings and again around 4 p.m., avoiding midday to minimize evaporation.
Pruning
Ipomoea crassipes is known for its vibrant flowers and vining growth habit. To keep the plant healthy and promote more abundant blooms, prune it in early spring. This will help shape the plant and remove any dead stems. Be sure to use clean, sharp tools while pruning to prevent disease. Cutting back long vines will also encourage fuller growth.
