ON THIS PLANT

Corylus ferox, the Himalayan hazelnut or Tibetan hazelnut, is a species of hazel native to the Himalayas of eastern Asia.

A note from PlantMom

The Himalayan hazelnut is quite disease-resistant and typically not susceptible to illnesses. In terms of care, the plant is fairly low-maintenance. When grown outdoors it needs only light watering, and larger specimens usually do not require pruning. Smaller plants, however, should be trimmed after they finish flowering. The Himalayan hazelnut is well suited to anyone with outdoor space, like a garden or deck, and does not demand extensive gardening experience.
