Aloysia is a genus of flowering plants in the verbena family, Verbenaceae. They are known generally as beebrushes. They are native to the Americas, where they are distributed in temperate climates, as well as in subtropical and desert climates. The genus is named for Maria Luisa of Parma (1751-1819), wife of King Charles IV of Spain.
Burro shows strong resistance to disease and is typically not susceptible to illnesses. Regarding upkeep, this plant is fairly low-maintenance. When grown outdoors, it needs minimal watering and larger plants usually do not require pruning. Smaller plants, however, should be pruned after they have bloomed. Burrot is suitable for anyone with an outdoor area, such as a garden or deck, and does not demand much care experience.
