A note from PlantMom

Valeriana congesta is fairly resistant to disease and, overall, is not easily affected by illnesses. Regarding care, this plant is fairly low-maintenance. When grown outdoors it needs little water, and larger specimens usually do not require pruning. Smaller plants, however, should be trimmed after they finish blooming. Valeriana congestat is fitting for anyone who has outdoor space, such as a garden or deck, and does not demand much in the way of care experience.
