Steveniella is a genus of flowering plants from the orchid family, Orchidaceae. Only one species is known, Steveniella satyrioides, native to Iran, Turkey, Crimea and the Caucasus.Steveniella satyrioides is considered an endangered species in Armenia.
Steveniella typically displays good disease resistance and is subject to relatively few insect pests. Its care is considered difficult because it needs high humidity combined with good ventilation and a low presence of harmful pathogens. Too much watering can cause root rot. Although anyone can grow Steveniella, keeping it healthy and getting it to bloom again requires more growing experience.
