A note from PlantMom

Petrosedum amplexicaule subsp. amplexicaule displays strong disease resistance and is typically not vulnerable to illnesses. As for care, this plant is fairly low-maintenance. When grown outdoors it needs only light watering, and larger specimens generally do not require pruning, although smaller plants should be pruned after they finish blooming. Petrosedum amplexicaule subsp. amplexicaulet is appropriate for anyone with an outdoor area, such as a garden or deck, and does not demand much prior plant-care experience.
