CARE GUIDE
How to keep Rubus Pentagonus.
Water
Rubus pentagonus is easy to care for once it is established. It typically needs about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of water each week. If you are growing it in containers, adjust the watering based on the condition of the soil. Water deeply when the topsoil looks dry and whitish, and make sure the soil stays well-drained.
Pruning
Pruning is crucial for the care of Rubus pentagonus. After the harvest, cut all the canes that have fruited down to the ground. In late winter or early spring, trim the first-year canes by half to encourage lateral growth. Additionally, remove any suckers to avoid overcrowding, and clear the field of old canes to prevent disease.
