Rubus dasyphyllus is a species of bramble found in northwest Europe, including Belgium, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, and the British Isles. It may be extinct in Sweden.
How to keep Rubus Dasyphyllus.
Water
Once your Rubus dasyphyllus is established, it requires minimal care. It needs about 1 inch (2.54 cm) of water each week. For plants grown in containers, adjust the watering according to the soil condition: water thoroughly when the top of the soil feels dry, and always make sure the soil drains well.
Pruning
Pruning is crucial for the health and productivity of Rubus dasyphyllus. After the harvest, cut all fruit-bearing canes down to ground level. Trim back first-year canes by half to encourage lateral growth. Additionally, be sure to remove suckers, thin out any overcrowded canes, and clear away old canes from the field to help prevent disease.
