CARE GUIDE
How to keep Prosthechea Vespa.
Water
Prosthechea vespa thrives with adequate moisture but can tolerate some periods of drought. During the summer, water the plant once a week. In the fall and winter, reduce watering to every 10 days. To maintain humidity, especially in dry conditions, mist the plant regularly. It's important to use water with a neutral pH, so be sure to neutralize tap or rainwater before watering the plant.
Pruning
Prosthechea vespa features beautiful orchid-like flowers and needs careful attention to flourish. To encourage new growth and improve air circulation and light exposure, prune dead stems and spent spikes in early spring. Be sure to use sanitized tools to prevent disease and follow horticultural best practices to keep your plant healthy and attractive.
