A note from PlantMom

Philodendron davidsonii is resistant to most diseases and typically does not suffer from illness. As for maintenance, this species is fairly easy to care for. When grown outdoors it needs only light watering, and mature specimens usually do not require pruning. Young or smaller plants, however, should be trimmed after they finish flowering. Philodendron davidsonii is well suited for people who have an outdoor area, like a garden or a deck, and does not demand extensive gardening experience.
