A note from PlantMom

Dichoropetalum schottii is well resistant to disease and typically not susceptible to illnesses. As for care, this species is fairly low-maintenance. When grown outdoors it needs only light watering, and larger plants generally do not require pruning. Smaller plants, however, should be trimmed after they have finished blooming. Dichoropetalum schottiit is appropriate for anyone with an outdoor area, such as a garden or deck, and does not call for much prior plant-care experience.
