Pericallis Lanata

Pericallis lanata, commonly known as the woolly ragwort or silver ragwort, is a perennial plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. Native to the Canary Islands and Madeira, it has also been introduced worldwide as an ornamental plant.

This plant can grow up to 60 cm tall and has a bushy habit. Its silver-gray leaves are covered in fine hairs, giving them a woolly appearance. The deeply lobed leaves have toothed edges, adding to their unique texture.

In spring or early summer, Pericallis lanata produces clusters of small yellow flowers with dark centers on tall stems above its foliage. These flowers are known for attracting bees and butterflies.
