A note from PlantMom

Meconopsis paniculata subsp. paniculata has strong resistance to disease and is typically not susceptible to illnesses. With respect to maintenance, this plant is fairly undemanding. When grown outdoors it needs only light watering, and larger plants generally do not require pruning. Smaller plants, though, should be trimmed after they finish blooming. Meconopsis paniculata subsp. paniculatat is well suited for anyone with an outdoor area, like a garden or deck, and does not call for extensive plant-care experience.
