Ochradenus baccatus is a perennial shrub of the family Resedaceae, native to arid and semi-arid regions of the Middle East, North Africa, and into Iran and Pakistan. It is characterized by its green, leafless branches and distinctive yellow flowers and white berries. It is widespread in disturbed habitats and desert depressions, including roadsides and semi-natural areas.
Taily Weed is resistant to disease and generally does not tend to get sick. Regarding care, the plant is fairly low-maintenance. When grown outdoors it needs only minimal watering, and larger plants usually do not need pruning. Smaller plants, however, should be pruned after they have finished blooming. Taily Weedt is appropriate for anyone with an outdoor area, such as a garden or deck, and does not demand much gardening experience.
How to keep Ochradenus Baccatus.
Light
Taily Weed comes from open habitats, like sunny meadows and the edges of forests, which supply plenty of light. It does best in Full Sun but is also able to tolerate Partial Sun, adjusting well to different light conditions.
Temperature
Taily Weed comes from tropical areas where the weather is usually warm and humid. Consequently, it is well adapted to high temperatures and humidity. It is sensitive to abrupt temperature changes and prefers a steady temperature environment, so indoor temperature fluctuations should be avoided. It generally does not tolerate cold and needs higher temperatures to grow. If the surrounding temperature falls too low, the plant may stop growing or even die.
