A note from PlantMom

Schweinfurth's tea-tree is resistant to disease and generally not likely to suffer from illnesses. With regard to care, this plant is fairly low-maintenance. Outdoors it needs only light watering, and larger specimens typically do not need pruning. Smaller plants, however, should be pruned after they have finished blooming. Schweinfurth's tea-treet is suitable for anyone who has an outdoor area, such as a garden or a deck, and it does not require much experience in plant care.

CARE GUIDE

How to keep Lycium Schweinfurthii.

Light

Fertilizer

Fertilizing is essential for the care of Schweinfurth's tea-tree. Regular feeding during the growing season preserves the energy required for its showy leaves and promotes overall growth. Failing to fertilize can lead to unhealthy leaves, reduced ornamental appeal, and stunted or weak growth that is prone to breaking.
