CARE GUIDE
How to keep Ligustrum Leucanthum.
Water
Ligustrum leucanthum is moderately drought-tolerant, requiring about 20% soil moisture. Reduce watering during the winter months, and be careful not to overwater seedlings, as this can attract pests. It's best to spray seedlings either in the morning or late afternoon. The plant is tolerant of salt and alkali, so any type of water—tap, rain, or distilled—is suitable.
Pruning
Ligustrum leucanthum needs to be pruned 2 to 3 times a year because it grows very quickly. During the summer, remove branches that are obstructive, diseased, or poorly positioned. In the winter, trim the main branch slightly. Be careful not to over-prune, as this can lead to slow growth or even plant death.
