ON THIS PLANT

Jumellea arachnantha (Rchb.f.) Schltr., 1915 is a species of orchid endemic to the Central Highlands of Madagascar and Grande Comore.

A note from PlantMom

Jumellea arachnantha typically shows good resistance to disease and is affected by relatively few insect pests. Its care is considered difficult because it needs a high-humidity yet well-ventilated environment with minimal harmful pathogens. Overwatering can cause root rot. While anyone can grow Jumellea arachnantha, keeping it healthy and getting it to bloom again requires more growing experience.
