A note from PlantMom

Swiss elecampane is highly disease-resistant and is seldom affected by illnesses. As for care, this plant is fairly low-maintenance. When grown outdoors it needs little watering, and mature plants usually do not require pruning. Smaller plants, however, should be trimmed after they finish flowering. Swiss elecampane is appropriate for anyone with outdoor space, such as a garden or a deck, and does not demand much care experience.
