Hypericum attenuatum, is a species of perennial herbaceous flowering plant in the family Hypericaceae.
How to keep Hypericum Attenuatum.
Water
Hypericum attenuatum is drought-resistant, but it cannot tolerate waterlogged soil. In its first year, it needs about 25 mm (1 inch) of water per week. In the following years, it usually doesn't need extra watering and can rely on natural rainfall. Be careful not to overwater, as this can cause root rot and dry leaves.
Pruning
Hypericum attenuatum requires minimal pruning. Trim 1/5 to 1/4 of the branch length by early summer to encourage new growth. For robust varieties with inward-growing branches, winter is the best time for more comprehensive pruning. These perennial herbs can be cut back completely and will rejuvenate. As older plants decline, consider planting new seedlings to replace them.
