Festuca incurva is a species of flowering plant in the family Poaceae, native from the Mediterranean to Central Asia and Pakistan. When placed in the monotypic genus Psilurus as Psilurus incurvus, it was the only species.
Bristle-tail grass has strong disease resistance and typically does not suffer from many illnesses. Regarding care, this plant is fairly low-maintenance. Planted outdoors, it needs little watering, and larger specimens usually do not require pruning. Smaller specimens, however, should be pruned after they have finished blooming. Bristle-tail grass is appropriate for anyone with an outdoor area, like a garden or a deck, and does not demand extensive gardening experience.
How to keep Festuca Incurva.
Fertilizer
Bristle-tail grass needs extra nutrients to encourage healthy new growth. In spring, putting compost around the plant's base can effectively supply the nutrition it requires. Fertilizing supports vigorous growth and helps the plant resist diseases and pests.
