Fernelia buxifolia is a shrub belonging to the family Rubiaceae. It is found in the Mascarene Islands of Mauritius, Réunion, and Rodrigues.

Fernelia buxifolia is resistant to disease and, overall, not easily affected by illnesses. With regard to care, this plant is fairly low-maintenance. Planted outdoors, it needs only light watering, and larger plants typically do not require pruning. Smaller plants, however, should be pruned after they have bloomed. Fernelia buxifoliat is appropriate for anyone with an outdoor area, such as a garden or deck, and does not demand much gardening experience.
