Caribbean fingergrass benefits from extra nutrients to encourage healthy new growth. In spring, applying compost around the plant’s base is an effective way to supply the necessary nourishment. Fertilizing supports vigorous growth and helps the plant fend off diseases and pests.

Caribbean fingergrass thrives in warm climates and is known for its distinctive finger-like seed heads. To promote new growth, prune the plant in early spring to remove any dead stems.
