A note from PlantMom

Cachacomo is resistant to disease and typically not vulnerable to illnesses. With respect to care, the plant is fairly low-maintenance. When grown outdoors it needs only light watering, and larger specimens usually do not require pruning. Smaller specimens, however, should be trimmed after they finish blooming. Cachacomot is appropriate for anyone who has an outdoor area, such as a garden or a deck, and does not demand extensive experience in plant care.

CARE GUIDE

How to keep Escallonia Myrtilloides.

Light

Cachacomo naturally occurs in habitats such as forest understories and rocky areas, where it is exposed to natural shade. It prefers partial sun but can adapt to full sun or full shade, illustrating its versatile and hardy nature.

Fertilizer

Timing is important when fertilizing Cachacomo. Apply fertilizer in early spring and continue monthly until early summer. Fertilizer promotes attractive blooms and supplies energy during both dormant and active growth periods.

Pruning

Cachacomo thrives when properly pruned, ideally in early spring before new growth begins. Remove dead branches to improve air circulation, and trim overgrown areas to maintain a natural shape. Pruning at the right time promotes healthy flowering and overall vigor, ensuring a robust plant.
