CARE GUIDE
How to keep Epidendrum Piliferum.
Water
Epidendrum piliferum thrives with regular moisture but can tolerate occasional drought. During the summer, water it weekly, and in the fall and winter, water it every 10 days. To maintain humidity, mist the plant regularly. Use neutral pH water, such as tap or rainwater, but be sure to let it sit for a while before using it. This allows any dissolved gases to escape.
Pruning
In early spring, prune the Epidendrum piliferum to shape it and remove any dead stems. After it finishes blooming, trim it back further to encourage new growth and more flowers. Be sure to sanitize your tools to prevent the spread of disease. Pruning not only promotes overall health but also improves air circulation and light penetration, as confirmed by horticultural guides.
