CARE GUIDE

How to keep Ephedra Monosperma.

Light

dwarf joint fir comes from open habitats, such as sunny meadows and forest edges, which provide abundant light. It thrives in Full Sun but can also tolerate Partial Sun, adjusting well to a range of sunlight conditions.

Fertilizer

To encourage healthy development, fertilize your dwarf joint fir in early spring. Regular feeding improves overall health, leading to vigorous growth, better tolerance of harsh conditions, and increased resistance to pests and diseases. Follow a consistent fertilization schedule for your dwarf joint fir to maintain foliage that is vibrant, deeply colored, and lush in appearance.

Pruning

Ephedra monosperma is a drought-tolerant shrub characterized by its jointed green stems and small leaves. To maintain its health and appearance, prune the shrub from early to late winter. Focus on removing any dead stems, as this encourages new growth and prevents the plant from becoming sparse. Consistent pruning also helps enhance the shrub's density, improves its overall health, and boosts its visual appeal.
