CARE GUIDE

How to keep Cleome Serrulata.

Light

Sieruela usambarica is native to habitats such as forest understories and rocky areas, where it grows in natural shade. It prefers partial sun but can tolerate both full sun and full shade, demonstrating its versatile, hardy nature.

Temperature

Sieruela usambarica comes from tropical areas, where the climate is generally warm and humid. As a result, it is adapted to high temperatures and humidity. It does not tolerate sudden temperature changes and prefers a stable thermal environment, so it is important to avoid temperature fluctuations indoors. It usually cannot withstand cold and needs higher temperatures to grow. If the ambient temperature falls too low, the plant may stop growing or even die.

Fertilizer

The plant Sieruela usambarica necessitates the most nutrients during its main growth phase, mostly during spring, summer, and the beginning of autumn. Nutritional supplementation is key to fulfill the plant's needs which the soil may not provide, it encourages the development of a healthy root system and stems, as well as aesthetically pleasing leaves, which is a distinguishing characteristic of this specific plant.
