CARE GUIDE

How to keep Buddleja Cordata.

Light

tepozan comes from open habitats, such as sunny meadows and forest edges, which provide abundant light. It thrives in Full Sun but can also tolerate Partial Sun, adapting well to various sunlight conditions.

Temperature

tepozan shows strong temperature adaptability, tolerating higher heat and wider temperature swings. In hot weather, attention should be paid to watering and providing suitable shade to avoid sunburn. On the other hand, tepozan is relatively sensitive to low temperatures; while it can handle some cold, very cold conditions may cause frost damage.

Fertilizer

Proper timing matters for fertilizing tepozan. Apply fertilizer in early spring and continue once a month until early summer. Fertilizer promotes attractive blooms and supplies energy during both dormant and active growth periods.

Pruning

Buddleja cordata features clusters of fragrant flowers, ranging in color from white to pale lavender, along with heart-shaped leaves. To promote its growth and health, prune the plant in early spring. This helps remove dead branches, reduce overcrowding, and improve air circulation. Regular pruning encourages a bushier shape, more vibrant blooms, and maintains the plant's overall well-being.
