ON THIS PLANT
This lesser-known relative of the agave makes for a superb and unique addition to any garden. Its glossy, evergreen rosettes form an eye-catching clump about three feet wide. Once established, it produces five-foot-tall red flower spikes adorned with beautiful reddish bells with green tips in the spring.
