ON THIS PLANT

Baccaurea polyneura is a species of plant in the family Phyllanthaceae. It is native to Sumatra, Borneo, Java, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and Peninsular Thailand. The fruit, called jentik, is edible, if sour, and is locally harvested and sold.
