How to keep Agave Sobria.
Water
The La Paz agave thrives in dry conditions. Water the plant only when the potting soil is sufficiently dry, and pay attention to any signs of dehydration as an indication that watering is needed. Increase watering slightly during the summer months, reduce it in the fall, and stop completely during the winter dormancy period if temperatures drop below 10°C. Resume watering in the spring when temperatures rise above 20°C.
Pruning
The La Paz agave is a drought-resistant succulent known for its rosette formation. To maintain its health, prune it in early spring by removing any damaged leaves and old flower stalks, being careful not to cut into the central rosette. Regular pruning helps improve air circulation and reduce the risk of pests, encouraging healthy growth in dry conditions.
